Facebook is definitely the better choice now a days. I also dig their security settings. I have profiles to group people and what they can and can't see. I know myspace has security features too but they are a pain in the ass.
I also like the fact that a band or something like that doesn't have to come through as a friend request instead you can become a fan and it goes in a different place. All around the functionality is better. And yes, the new design is different and still getting used to it but it's grown on me. Starting to like it better actually.
