I lived in houston for a couple of years. The state definately has some beautiful landscapes, but what i disliked the most about the place was the people. Being from rural montana, i grew up around farms, ranches, etc. So in tx, seeing people with 4 door two wheel drive duely pickups with a 6" lift kit on it, that they use as a grocery getter, justifying the vehicle with thier 5 acres and a horse with 3 hooves in the grave (they figure that makes them a rancher i guess) bugs the hell out of me. I shouldnt let it irritate me, but it does. its just so freakin retarded.
