Why's that? I actually don't think the guy has done that well for the country, he has been fortunate with Russia's natural resources, and more or less has just stabilized the political situation, and meanwhile has ignored some of Russia's most pressing problems such as it's massively declining birth-rates. However, he hasn't done particularly bad by anyone major, including the US or the EU, or his own people, so why would he deserve a bullet in the head? Because he doesn't wholeheartedly bow to the American's and the British who want everyone to submit before their will? Russia could be a partner, but it has no reason to accept a completely submissive role. The neo-con/Zionists are pushing Russia into the cold, and whatever you may think it is becoming clear to me at least that Russia is starting to fight back, and that doesn't mean militarily.
