After spending an hour on the phone with OneHungLo, the following agreement was made
1) I apologize again here in writing and have done so personally to Rob
2) Rob is forwarding to me the licenses for the content so I can confront the person who sold me this content and establish how many sites of mine this affects
3) I have removed the content from the website
If Rob had of checked who I was first, and then contacted me directly, I would have worked with him 100% from the first word, instead my reputation has been permanently damaged and now there is not much I can do about it.
It seems amazing to me that after spending two years buildng my business with over 300 paysites, HardProfits.com and MultiBill.com, a stupid error in my judgment can cause so much anguish, as so many people would prefer to brand you guilty before you can mutter a single word.
A lesson I have learnt is this. Check the credentials of the person who is selling you the content. Automatically endearing trust on people in this industry seems to be a road to ruin.
And to any other content provider out there. We are working through each and every site I own (now over 300) to try to find the content this person sold us, and have it removed asap. So if you find any issues with our sites during this process of cleaning up our DB's, pleeeeeeeease contact me 1st before adding more carnage to my already slurried name
And to those like Brisk who calmly suggested that we need to get the whole story - thank you for your patience in this matter
And to those who felt it necessary to kick me in the head without knowing one shred about the issue - GFY
