I copied this comment from cnn, pretty straight forward:
I live on a fixed income. My house was forclosed in 2005 losing house and contents too. My reaction was a serious nervous breakdown requiring six weeks of hospitalization. It was the sadest period of my life. Although now I live with just the basic fundamentals, every month is a financial struggle for me. As Americans, the current economic situation is rapidly approaching our "generation's great depression". Society's excesses have produced a crisis not seen since the 1920's. The next president will be faced with a myriad of problems last faced by FDR. The fact is it will take magnificent skills, cooperation and concentrated efforts to pull us through the BIG ONE.
