There's a difference between consuming and
wanting to, though.
Its not to say that fucking a model before/during/after a shoot is necessarily a bad thing, but there are those of us who exercise self-restraint for one reason or another. Its a personal call. A producer can still create a product that's 'consumable' without sampling the goods during the production. Sure, the temptation may be there (like a drug dealer and his own supply) - but some of us choose not to indulge.

Models that fuck are only a segment of the industry - not the entire industry. Having been in the industry 30 years yourself...you know this. Take BDSM/fetish models for instance. Stacy Burke, Darla Crane and Eve Ellis (three of the more well-known names over the past few years) all command wages around $2-3k per half day shoot
without fucking on camera.
