The only way that will ever happen, is if someone finds some substantial dirt on Biden that makes him a certified liability. Anything else would look like poor decision making on Obama's part, and he'd be done.
If Biden was disqualified, I think he'd ask Clinton, but I'm not even certain she'd accept. She's got her sight's n 2012, and the only way she wants to be VP is if saying no would hurt her chances at the presidency in the future.
