She thinks I'm waiting for some kind of big pay off that will never come. Even though I make good money despite ups and downs in the income she sees it as unstable. I told her that its more about freedom, etc than anything else but she says those aren't goals either. Her goal is "advancing her career" and she says she feels she makes a difference. She works for the government doing income support for disablity. She pays her share of everything, I have no complaints about that but she just can't understand that there are other ways in life besides hers it seems.
