I have no doubt that the young man in "Mr. Obama" feels very sincere about what he said... however... it is a disconnect from reality and applies fuzzy logic to any opposition to the Iraq War.
The reality is that Bush sacrificed those young men in a needless war. The reason to invade Iraq was not "Liberation of the Iraqi People"... in fact... that reason was spin created by the right wing after it was proven that the Bush Administration lied to the American People about WMD's and even after the UN Inspectors had already told them there were no WMD's. When Obama says that the Iraq War was a mistake... he is saying that those young men died in a war that was started on false pretense... in no way is he minimizing their sacrifice in the slightest way. Anyone that says so should evaluate their view because they are buying into the propaganda that the Bush Administration has been pushing in order to ignore their responsibility for the deaths of these soldiers.
Today, on the anniversary of 9/11, we should get past these false characterizations and wake up! See reality for what it really is... McCain is the person that is minimizing the lives of our soldiers by turning it into a political ploy to brainwash people into voting for him.
I used to respect McCain and even planned to vote for him... but that was before I started seeing a pattern of lies and political ploys that started during the debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. He has lost his honor... I cannot support a man that tells lies and uses peoples lives as a political tool to gain votes... it's not right and it's not the example I want for my children.
