I'm saving your post to read again. Like you said the theme this year wasn't very inspiring at first but I did get more from it than I thought I would. That's always a pleasant surprise, but given the nature of BRC it shouldn't be a surprise at all. Normal expectations aren't very useful at Burning Man.
I did manage to see you at BMAN ever so briefly from afar on your bike. I was a bit too far away talking with some friends. It's too bad I didn't get to spend a little time with you, but it was somehow just reassuring to see you there.
I'm not sure where those giant wings were. I never saw that piece. But certainly the city was humongous this year. The biggest ever.

I recognized your camp from your pre-posts, but never got a chance to explore too much. It was an odd year for me...but wonderful. I'm finishing a video now that I am really excited about.
