1:10,000? HOLY COW!! I cried when last month mine went up to 1:189. Thankfully it's back to 1:138.
If someone's signup ratio is really doing bad (obviously I know 1:10k is a joke) but anyway, they should consider changing who they do business with. Maybe something with the program has changed. Or maybe it's you, maybe your type of traffic has changed but either way holy cow go try someone else.
The economy is bad sure, but not bad enough to see THAT big of a difference in sales ratios. My Vivid Cash went from making me $.18 for every unique click I sent them to about $.14 and although that sucks to have a slight drop, it's still not that bad.
My DVD sales have stayed about the same, from about $.05 to $.06 per click. But what I noticed is, of the two companies I send my traffic to (DVD sales wise), one which is Mallcom has stayed up there and the other has done HORRID. I send both stores about the same amount of total traffic per month, both stores from the same source. One does $.05 to $.06 per click (which is Mallcom), the other does less than half of one cent per click.
So ya, I don't want to mention who the icky one is to start any drama or anything but the point is, shop around.
Maybe it's your traffic that has changed, but maybe it isn't. It's your money so take a drop in sales serious. Especially if it's for more than one pay period.
