In this regard i'd ponder a younger person and take them on as an apprentice for limited pay in year 1 + a better commission base to keep him/her hungry. Final year marketing students in college are prime examples as they will soak up information you train them. Further your bringing a new person into the industry, when things succeed (optimistic) then you will have a loyal soldier to work with. Just a quick ponder for you...

Here is what I am looking at before the flames begin. I am looking at bringing in someone to start dealing with the marketing end of business. I have a few assistants who post on forums, do updates, manage some things while away. But I need someone a bit more savy.

We've all read board posts saying $50k + commission down to 10-15k + commission or completely incentive based. I am looking for a some ideas n staggering some for of payment on this need so I can move on to some other things.

Experience whether you are a program owner, or have been in this position is a plus.

Fire away ladies.
