Yes, it is and yet I enjoy it and so do a lot of other people. I just never got into shooting games and that sort of thing but I do like 'god games' and The Sims fed well into that from the start. I am looking forward to Sims 3. I don't play it all that often these days but when a new addon comes out I get it and play for a week or so.
