Troops should take actions that deserve honor and respect. I guess I'm just weird but before I blindly take orders to go into another country and kill people that are defending their backyard I want to do a little research. 5 years later when it comes out that the entire war I was a part of is based on lies I don't continue to brag about how patriotic I am and think I am deserving of respect.
I look at soldiers the same way I look at cops. You see a fucked up cop doing fucked up cop things and someone always comes in to say "Most cops are good, this is just some random idiot!". No most cops aren't good. A good person cracks the fucking skull of a dirty cop that does dirty cop shit to normal people. He does not look the other way while claiming moral superiority to everyone else.
