Palin has a lot more problems than a pregnant daughter. First off she wants abstinence only taught to kids. Well, teaching abstinence only gets you a pregnant teenager and many of these kids are poor and don't have moms that are governors of states to support them. Most of them will have boyfriends that have shitty jobs and will pay her $45 a month in child support until he finally leaves the state and dodges it for months and months leaving her with nothing. Palin's family is not the normal family.
She has issues with other things as well including the 22million in debt she left the town she was mayor of with or the nearly 400 million she tried to get for the bridge to nowhere until it started getting national attention and then suddenly she was opposed to it. She also tried to get her sister's Ex fired from his job as a cop so he couldn't get custody of the kids and she wanted to fire a librarian because she didn't want to ban the books Palin wanted banned. So she has more than just a knocked up daughter as her problem.
The problem with the daughter is what other people in this thread have said. Palin hasn't done it, but her party has bashed girls like Jamie Lynn Spears and teens in general for getting pregnant as not being responsible and having bad morals. But they had Palin's daughter and the kid that knocked her up on stage the other night like they were great role models. Did you see it. It was like they were congratulating that kid for winning the lottery or something ( I guess in a way he did). It was pretty creepy.
Palin is under fire because McCain is 71 years old and has had Melanoma four times. She has a much higher than average chance of having to take over so she needs to be looked at in a critical way.

I do understand why she is under fire. It is just sad that people have to talk aout her daughter all the time. As for her daughters boyfriend, he was not going to attend the convention until he was dragged into the spotlight. Yes I saw him there and I think since he is going to be a part of that family he should be there. They were not up there to be role models. As for sex ed, that should be taught at home. That is a parents job to do, not the schools. It is sad how many parents do not talk to their kids about sex at all. Jamie Lynn Spears was bashed by people from both parties. I do not see why McCains age is such an issue. He is only two years older then Reagan when he became president. Just because he is 71, doesn't mean he is going to die in office. Anyone can die at any age.
