The media has been pimping a recession for years now and still there hasn't been one. All the Bush haters are just hoping for one so they can have another reason to hate him. Guess we'll find out by then end of this week when unemployment, retail and other figures come in. I know for a fact that the housing market is down because my wife is in the real estate biz and she's familiar with the markets. Just in one of her areas, there is a surplus of homes for sale and 38% of those homes for sale are either a short sale or foreclosure.
But it's definitely not as bad as the early 90's imo..
