A complimentary younger running mate to an old one. - true, but with that it will take away one of their biggest complaints about Obama - that he has no experience. You can't really tells someone they are not qualified for the job when the person you pick to take over for you if you can't do it has less experience and qualifications than the person you are criticizing.
A conservative running mate to a maverick/ RINO. - McCain hasn't been a maverick for nearly a decade, but she is very conservative.
A healthy shot at the glass ceiling/ Hillary vote. - Why, because she is a woman. Women often nit pick and hate other women. They are worse than guys are. Just because she is a woman doesn't mean the Hillary backers will like her. As one Hillary backer said on CNN, "It was about Hillary, not just any woman."
She appeals strongly to:
All men. - Wrong. I am a man and she doesn't appeal to me. There are many guys that are more liberal who will not like her politics and her positions. So clearly she doesn't appeal to all men.
Soccer moms just like herself. - Wrong again. Most soccer moms are not married to big oil guys nor are they ex-beauty queens. The only thing she will have in common with many soccer moms is that she is a mom.
Red State America/ Rural America. - Yep. And this really doesn't help McCain. She might help in some of the red states that he is currently having trouble in, but he needs independents.
Working America. - Again I am not sure why assume this. She is not a working class person and has not lived a typical working class life.
Pacific/ Western States. - You mean the left coast? She might appeal to some of the midwestern states and places like Montana and the Dakotas because she loves guns and motorcycles, but on the coast she will have zero effect.
Evangelicals. - true
Gun owners. - true
Government reformers. - um...how so? Because she has no experience? What exactly has she reformed.
...and the list goes on and on.
McCain's choice of Palin is a game changer. - True it is the hail mary pass. . . I will be waiting to see though if someone actually catches it for a touchdown. McCain really put himself out there with this one maybe it will pay off, but I think all it did was weaken his position.
