Ironically enough global warming will not cause a nice even warming all over the planet, but instead it will cause exactly the situation the world has now- extreme temperature swings; stronger and more frequent hurricane activity due to the warmer equatorial oceans; melting ice caps and eventually a change in the salinity of the ocean that will potentially break the ocean current system which will cause truly catastrophic devastation across the globe.
