That is an awesome attitude.
I would almost prefer to do that, than to evacuate. My husband and family say evacuate. It sounds much more exciting to ride it out. However its not my life goal to dare hurricanes. But fuck yeah, if you're going to do it, do it.
Also for me, I do not drink alcohol, and if I am in the midst of a bunch of drunks while sober during a hurricane... well that has to be my definition of hell.
Maybe in my twenties, but not now.
