I abuse mine like a red headed child with down syndrome, for about a year now, and have never once seen a blue screen.
I used to bag on XP alot because of the way it was marketed and the way it looked. It just appeared to be designed by Fisher Price. With only one goal in mind, be easy enough so even your average American halfwhit could operate it.
Remember when computers were to be feared? They were cold and unfeeling, slightly daunting. When getting on the internet at home seemed like only a fantasy.
Now however, every Joe Blow with his new fangled shiny computing machine from Best Buy can scream along on his cable modem, utterly oblivious. I hate them.
If there is anything more nauseating than a web porn newb, its watching some jerkoff hunt and peck his keyboard looking for taz decals for his truck... on a cable modem.
Anyhow, I like XP Pro, it doesnt give me any grief at all.
