that is so horrible. I remember myself once rushing to a hospital with my just-hit-by-a-car puppy and while I was lucky not to get noticed by cops, I was speeding and driving irrationally but most anyone would in that situation. If there was an emergency mobile service for dogs or if the regular 911 emergency medical people would be willing to help rescue animals, people wouldn't have to drive like mad to get their pet rescued on time.
My puppy survived and is a healthy girl today because she got the medical treatment in time.
