of course i agree with you to an extent. the IRS tends to go after slam dunk cases anyway.. they don't prosecute cases they might lose because the potential cost is too high.
but its also not a question of "right or wrong" - these things have been through the courts endless times. its black and white. saying "federal income taxes are illegal" is factually wrong. disagreeing with them for whatever reason, is another thing.
i bought my first car at 15 from a guy who also had it all figured out that taxes were illegal. i got it for very cheap.
and your right... people pay WAY too much in taxes because they don't do anything to minimize their tax burden. thats the biggest irony of taxes... the poorest, dumbest people pay the largest % of their income.
