It's no wonder Europeans are healthier on average haha.
With regard to fresh food, it got me thinking. I remember going to the Carribean and eating a banana straight off a banana tree. It occured to me that until that day, I had never known what a fresh banana tasted like. Everything in a super market here is imported and not fully ripened - bananas are green when picked and sent to the grocery stores.
I like the old cultures, history, and monuments of Europe. At the same time, it gives one an appreciation for the deliberate and profound break from the past that America represents and what makes America so unique in its own right.
