I was in Mackinaw Island a week or so back and one of the things I looooooooooooooooooooooooooove to hear is about how early settlers, "brought Christianity to the Indians (or whomever)" like this is a good thing.
Christianity, and organized religion as a whole, are responsible for some of the most despicable acts in human history. The fact that you get this reference 'brought Christianity' bullshit when you go to museums, and historic places, shows, docs, is a fucking crime.
