I don't know your personal history with Paul, nor do I care, what I do know is that Paul has enough problems on his plate at the moment and could quite easily have said "fuck it, I've enough to deal with" but he didn't, he very decently decided to go the extra mile. I hope nothing bad ever happens to you, honestly, but if it does, I'm sure you'd take whatever help you could get. Don't knock the guy for doing some good, because karma can be a real bitch
