Find a few you like and either buy them there or go home and order them online - maybe used. There are some fantastic books out there for makeup combined with photography and or just makeup in general, both with intensive how to methods. I only say this as often models or women in general learn how to apply makeup as a kid or teen from either trial and error or via friends and family. It can effect a look just as much as any camera skill or anything else done for a shoot.
I guess it is almost like trying to pull of a girl next door style site and then have numerous sets of the girl in clear stripper heels or obvious hoochie wear. Just does not fit if you get my drift.
