He didnt know that they were facing eviction and couldnt afford their meds. This leads me to beleive she had control of the finances, fucked something up and was trying to hide it. Otherwise why not just tell him that he wasn't making enough, find a different job etc? Because he would be pissed thats why. Read the article again....
