A word to the wise, if Google has already spidered your content your going to want to make sure you write an .htaccess file that 301's any old page location to the new locations.

The biggest thing with optimizing wordpress is cutting down on duplicate content. Wordpress loves to repeat content in archives, categories and tags. Pick a spot and stick with it, then redirect all other locations
