I thought about it for a second, and as I was telling her, she cut me off and asked me to try some lotion. I explained that I needed to get to a store before it closed, and she just kept trying to push the lotion. And yet, I still tried to be polite, explaining that I was going on a trip and really needed to get something, and I knew I wasn't the sort of girl that bought lotions, anyway, and... finally, I realized that she was preying on my politeness, forcing me to choose between being rude and standing there putting lotion that I didn't want on my hands and listening to her stupid sales pitch. My boyfriend was shocked at how pushy she was.
Incidentally, I knew I wouldn't be buying any hand lotion because I have a stripper pole at home that I use for exercise, and it's over a hardwood floor... I'd crack my fucking head open if I tried some of the maneuvers with slick, baby's butt soft hands.
