Another common cause of vaginal odor is poor hygiene. It is a good idea to wash your external genital area during regular baths or showers. Use a very small amount of mild, unscented soap and lots of water. Douching isn't necessary. All healthy vaginas contain some bacteria and other organisms. The normal acidity of the vagina keeps bacteria and yeast in check. But douching can actually upset this delicate balance.

You know your pussies!
I second, third or fourth that guess. When something doesn't smell right, it's prolly either a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. There's bacteria and yeast ever present down there, and it's a vary delicate balance. Many girls get yeast infections after taking antibiotics... Think about it... a strep throat (bacterial infection) is cured with an oral antibiotic. Not being selective, it kills the bacteria in her cooch and then the yeast blooms like bread in the oven. So she eats a bunch of acidophilus to kill the yeast, and wham... the yeast dies off and she's got an upswing of bacteria. It's not contagious, but I wouldn't recommend stuffing your face down there and taking a deep whiff. The sad thing is, there's a good chance she got to where she was by bathing too much. Not just douching, but also simple things like bathing and swimming in a pool can upset the balance for some women.
This is why I am not a lesbian...
