The Canadian squad of Heese and Cadieux were ranked 19th, but needed to do well in Norway recently, and they didn't. They lost 3 straight to team Norway in fact, and that loss pushed them just out of Olympic contention.

However, our former team (Heese & Child) used to be ranked 2nd at one time I believe, and they took the bronze in Atlanta. Child is retired, and Heese is now 38.
