My step father had his own used car dealership. He was from France, and figured out that cars Americans love sell for dirt cheap in Europe. He used to buy cars in Europe, ship them to the US, and sell them here. Usually he bought Mercedes and BMWs, but he also got some old Ferraris, mostly from the '70s. We used these cars as "family cars", and got different ones every few weeks.
We once had a Lambo Contach, and a Ferrari Daytona Spyder.
My very first car was a Renult 18i, which you couldn't buy in the states. Not an impressive car, but for a daily driver for a seventeen year old kid it was pretty cool!
