All I'm saying, is that it's a good thing Edwards wasn't the nominee because it would have killed any chance of a democrat winning the white house in November.
Die-hard democrats would have still voted for him, die-hard republicans wouldn't have voted for him no matter what, and the people in the middle tend to be swayed by shit like this.
I think the same thing could have happened to Hillary, albeit it would have been her getting the flack for anything Bill has done since the last time anyone did serious digging into his life.
That's just the way it is these days in politics, whether it's right or not, if you're applying for a job that only 42 people in the history of the country have held, you get held to a higher standard.
