McCarthy shouldn't be in this at all. He is the coach. The end. Politics and contracts are for those higher up. To blame any of this on him is ridiculous.
Thompson.. well, that's another story. I did not like him from the start. He may have very well lied to Brett.. that has yet to be proven, but IT IS A PROVEN FACT Brett has lied on more than one occasion.
I was born, raised and continue to be a Packer fan and up and till recently, I was a huge Favre fan. But now, has become everything he previously claimed he was not and alienated fans and tarnished his legacy in the process.
Had this only been business... well, that would have been easier to swallow, but it isn't, and now I have to explain to my son WHY #4, a player he literally grew watching and came to idolize, will now be playing for another team because he is a selfish bastard. And that pisses me off.
