The U.N. is irrelevant. What use are they? They don't do anything but squabble about rules without ever enforcing them. Saddam kicked their inspectors out in 1998 and what did they do about it? North Korea not only kicked inspectors out, but they broke away from the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. What are they doing about it? Nothing. What's the use? It was only recently the U.N. got up off their asses when the U.S. started to make moves to enforce rules and now they're whining about the U.S. being too aggressive. Laws and rules are useless without the threat of enforcement. Imagine all the people who would want to rob banks if they knew that there would be no consequences for their actions.
