I'm in two minds about this. I can sort of understand wanting to put past mistakes to rest, which is nearly impossible when you're on the net. I can find messages archived from 1991 with my name on them... but then again messages from that time are just embarassing due to my immaturity, not incriminating.

At the same time, I do have to say that allowing a new employee to invent another name and use it as if they were a real person is a little worrying...
