If the guy is completely innocent, why allow him to use an alias? That in and of itself is deceptive. I wasn't burned by him, but know of two people who were. No matter how you try and spin it, this guy ripped off a ton of people. I would personally lose any trust in a company that does business with a guy like that, especially one that allows him to hide under an alias.
