There are great things and not so great things about everything, including Europe vs. USA.

Frankly I'm perplexed seeing a thread like this because in this day and age one would think any intelligent person realizes that there are upsides and downsides to everything, and one simply cannot say one country/continent is better than the other.

Also, Europe is comprised of many different countries, each with their own traditions, quirks, policies, and attitudes.

Saying "Europe is this and that" or "Americans are this and that" is way too generalized to have any merit IMHO.
ever heard of the term "same shit different pile"? think of the "middle east" do you think of the separate countries in it? or do you think of one big shithole and call it "the middle east"? YOU CALL IT THE MIDDLE EAST BECAUSE IT IS ONE BIG SHIT HOLE, you generalize because it is ONE BIG SHIT HOLE.

same deal with europe.

"I personally prefer the US to living in Europe but that's preference."
so you agree with me, THANK YOU
