The joke I'll make is "Look honey the price has gone down from painfully insufferable to merely unacceptably outrageous"
There's a new project in the works called PickensPlan. The plan is to use wind power to divert use of natural gas to make electricity. Then, with more natural gas available, we switch to compressed natural gas as a fuel source.
One glitch. Compressed Natural Gas is about $1.20-$2.50 in Los Angeles, give or take. Once demand goes even higher, we would be pay as much for CNG as we would for petrol. Oh, and did I mention everyone has to buy a new car to use CNG?
