A couple of things about your design:
I think your logo is not clear enough,it must be
readable easily
You must sharpen your images,cause the quality
of the images is very important for the surfers
And you can use stroke(with or without outer glow)
in your writtings,it makes them more and easily readable.
And the last thing,while you're changing the image size,
check the constrain proportions box.
