Wiredguy, I think Rackspace doesn't offer site hosting service, but only leasing servers.
They charge $3.5 overage fee per gigabyte. If you prepay, unit price may decrease to $2.5 depending on the volume.
You say this is their first outage in 18 months, but it isn't
There are at least 2 occurences we faced, one lasted for 4-5 hours. Also compare your March 2nd Bandwidth total to other days.
