Steve McQueen is the man. Well, was the man since he's dead. I guess that means Paul Newman is the man
Edit: Come to think of it, I don't know how long Paul Newman has left. I think when he goes, the title passes on to Clint Eastwood (if he's still around) and then on to Gene Hackman.
Another edit: Burt Reynolds would be in the line of succession if he would stick to movies like Deliverance, Boogie Nights and Stroker Ace. I'm afraid The Crew knocked him down a few notches on "The Man" ladder, though.
