it must be like having a lot of money, then losing it. you get accustomed to being the girl that gets hit on 100 times a day, then it slowely tapers away, or the quality of the suiters diminishes. im sure it has to hit like a brick and be tragic towards your self-esteem.
i loved and dated a girl for a long time, then we broke up. its a particularly sensitive subject for me because i felt like i "used her up" during her prime courting/child bearing years. i dont think that guilt is ever going to leave me.
