You completely missed my point. My point is that a patriot is not someone who blindly follows his leaders. It is our right, responsibility and duty to question an action if it is immoral. In WWII, Germans probably believed they were patriotic, blindly following Hitler, just following orders. Nope, they weren't patriotic. They were blindly nationalistic.
