Honestly, one of the things that kept me away from this board for a long time was checking out people's "niche" sites and seeing that they just. don't. get it.
I mean, the impression I get from a lot of the niche porn sites is "let's make a buck off these perverts." I have no problem with people making a lot of money off of other people's fetishes (obviously), but I think a person who decides to run one of these sites ought to really try to get into the heads of their target market and figure out what it is that really excites them, then do their best to satisfy that need. Sure, a lot of guys will settle, sign up for something that is kind of like what they're into, but I have to imagine they feel used and don't want to stick with their memberships. I think it's great that sites are moving toward greater interactivity, which allows models and content providers to get feedback on what their members are looking for. I noticed for a long time that fetish porn was either strictly fetish and produced on a shoestring budget, or sex with a dash of fetish that was poorly done. I am glad to see that some sites have emerged that do a pretty good job of blending them... I particularly like the Kink.com sites and The English Mansion... kudos!
I am glad to hear that you put in the extra effort - I am sure you make a lot of people very happy.
