I agree with Arron on this..

in the studio most of the time I don't use them.. they catch on things.. and almost are more dangerous than not having one.


I have a nice one from microsoft.. that works really well because it has a quick release system on it.. or just the standard one from canon is nice

I have seen small straps that go around your hand like what you would find on a camcorder but still.....When shooting content sets, I tend to move the camera from hand to hand then from portrait to landscape, and I also switch between multiple shutter release buttons.

Consider how you shoot then decide which strap, if any, is right for you.
