Akita's were used to guard temple in the far East, Japan and were used to fight bears and dears.
I wanted one but that meant buying a bigger garden fence at least 6 foot high.
My mate has got one and is fully grown, once you see the size of its muscular neck any person would shit it.
Very nice dogs if you know how to look after one.
