I just made the feeds, so I' checking what people prefer. Weekly is not a problem, I could do it even 2-3 times a week. And updating was one of the reasons I didn't make feeds for all sites, when I know there isn't enough content to update the feeds regularly for a long period of time, I rather don't make them.
