Damn near every woman in Costa Rica is a prostitute. I've never felt like such a "piece of meat" in my life! You walk into regular night clubs and you THINK you are some kind of a stud because it's like walking through a gauntlet. Every good looking girl in the place is grabbing you and wanting to talk. Then you find out that every single girl is a hooker!

Robbie, only that way in San Jose, i live in costa rica down at the beaches, and the people are super friendly. Working girls in Costa rica or any latin country are not looked down on as they are in the USA, i think its almost as respectable as if they were working at a Starbucks, maybe even more
I must also say there are some of the most impressive looking working girls in this country, most are imports from Columbia, and a few others.
