If you should ever see a "tube" or pole that goes into the ground a few feet
drop a tiny firecracker down (no need for a big m80)
the sound of a firecracker dropped into a sewer for example.....is amazing
thats why the kids dropped it into a mail box.....the sound is amplified by 100...its neato
